I Heart Pullover - Burgundy Sheer

With the color of the vehicle in my background, I have actually blended in.  I am quite loving the burgundy color, or we can call it maroon, as what we (or maybe just me) were more familiar with and have known before the name marsala have surfaced.

I was fully elated to have scored another pullover which was in a color that I am indulging lately and in a style which expresses a romantic-feminism combo. Since I couldn't dare to strut in sheer so underneath the pullover was the peplum hem top to make the knit sheer appear as a long blouse.

The pearl accessories and the embellished peep-toes completes the ultra-chic look.

I Heart Pullover - D&G x Disney

I have realized lately that pullovers are one of the most versatile types of clothing.  It can be worn to protect both from cold and warm weathers and can be worn for both ultra-femme or androgynous styling.

Wearing this gray Donald Duck pullover took me back to my salad days.  Disney cartoon characters were so fun to watch in TV, movie, in our school supplies and even to clothes. And who never dreamed of stepping on the grounds of Disneyland?  Honestly, I did!

After eyeing this teeny-bopper sweater, and realizing  that this piece was a collaboration of Dolce & Gabbana with Disney, and then feeling the grits of the embellished Donald Duck print, I felt instant excitement and  never had second thoughts of taking it home with me.

I particularly wore this pullover on our trip going to Bohol.  I purposely put on a pullover to protect me from both cold temperature of the ship and from the warm temperature outdoor.  If you have been reading my blog post, you should have observed by now that I rarely wear tops that do not flow beyond the hips.  Since pullovers are tailored only up to the waist ( especially if the size perfectly fits), I wore a dress-blouse with a lace hemline underneath to cover those body portions that needed some overlay.

I Heart Pullover - Rock Eagle

Rainy days are here again and it's high time to take out those pullovers from the closet and bring it on.  Even though, it was at the peak of summer, I was already drawn weeks ago to pullovers especially those adorned ones. I have purchased several pieces then. I have always an "addiction" to anything that glitters, to those fashion pieces that are generously embellished and creatively ornamented. So even with pullovers, I skipped the plain Janes and embraced the beautifully crafted versions.  And since it is time to take out the umbrellas once again, it is also the perfect time to showcase my new collection of seemingly festive pullovers.

Here's the first among my series of outfit posts wearing my chosen pullovers for the rainy season.  This first post, among the series  that I am collectively calling it as I HEART PULLOVER, is about ROCK EAGLE.

As you can see the main print design of this pullover is the EAGLE.  Take a closer look and you'll see diamonds (faux) forming the word: R.O.C.K., hence Rock Eagle.

I love to experiment, elegantly with my outfit as part of my daily fashion advocacy.  With this look, I am putting on a glam-rock-chic style.

GLAM - The choice of colors, black and cobalt plus touch of black and silver sequined details on the shoes and faux diamonds on the pullover adds a glamorous appeal to the outfit.
ROCK - The pullover with the eagle print design and the metallic lens sunglasses gives an edgy rock sense of style.
CHIC - The peplum stripe sheer fabric that hangs on the hemline of the pullover and that tote bag makes the whole ensemble tastefully chic.

Do not be afraid to mix different styles in one look.  Dare to experiment, but make sure to do it elegantly to look polished and not shabby.  And also remember that a well-color coordinated outfit definitely will leave an impression of an elegantly-smart personal style.
