Trend Alert: Bold Colors for F/W 2015-2016

Fall/ Winter 2015-2016 Fashion Trend #16: Bold Colors

 via http://www.fashionisers.com/trends/fall-winter-2015-2016-fashion-trends/

I happened to wear this bright colored long blouse, which at the same time can be worn as a minidress, during our city tour trip with my forever travel buddy, sister and cousins a week ago.  I opted for this dress as the color is bold and perfect for a day out and the sleeves are long to protect my arms from the UV rays.

I am not a "trendy person", as I have been admitting frequently in my other blog posts. It just so happen (maybe by coincidence, or again, I can foretell the trends instinctively) that I wear them unbeknownst of the trends for the season or upcoming season.

I am in constant actualization of my advocacy on color coherence in my sense of style as manifested in this color combo of black plus white. B/W made the yellow color more brighter and bolder.  The black color, which is a direct contrast, made the vibrant yellow hue surfaced more saturatedly.

What I Wore:
long dress/blouse -  Cyecle / palazzo pants - gifted by my mom / black glitter sneakers - Follie / sequined cap - Cyecle / sunglasses - G. Country Mall Department Store / earrings - Siam Street Night Market

Bangkok Diary 10-2014: Day 3 - Exploring Bangkok Thru Trains

I have somehow managed to enjoy exploring the city of Bangkok thru their train system.  We dedicated the third day of our trip to hop on the BTS and the subway, since we were already too late to go to the floating market.  Enjoy the photos.

Our Day 3 was spent mostly on exploring all thr routes of the BTS.  And we even hopped on to their subway before we headed to our last destination for that day.

Sunday Style: Vintage Amor

A dress is always the perfect fashion piece when going to church to hear  and celebrate the Sunday mass.  The dress must be with a length that is on or below the knee, and can even go as long to reach the ankles, ultimately for the purpose of modesty and respect to the holy place and solemn activity.

SUNDAY STYLE:
Vintage Amor

I scored this seemingly vintage dress from one of my-vintage-thrift store -hopping sessions. F.Y.I,
 I love anything vintage-y.

The dress is pretty decent with the semi-turtleneck style of the neckline and the sleeves are long which completely clothed my upper extremities.  The details of the dress, not to mention the pretty pleats on the skirt portion, is a mix of complexity and daintiness, which reminded of circa 1920's-1930's.

As I am a firm believer and "implementor" of monochromatic style, I am certainly loving this BEIGE + TAN color scheme.

Are you a fan of vintage clothing?

What I Wore:
dress- vintage / shoes - MNG / belt - Shok Department Store / sunglasses - SM Kids Department Store / pearl drop earrings - gifted by my mom

Trend Alert: Asymmetrical Hem for F/W 2015-2016

Fall/ Winter 2015-2016 Fashion Trend #17: Asymmetrical Hemlines

via Fashioners.com

It's my SKORT that makes this look  access the Fall-Winter trend for ASYMMETRICAL HEMLINES.

Since I am no longer that fond of exposing my gams. my black leggings is always a default.  The skort is worn with my trusted leggins underneath. Tucked my shirt on my stripes skort, rolled the sleeves and I was good to go.

I loved this look because it was in my all-time favorite color combination: BLACK and WHITE.

Wore this outfit while running errands for my mom.

Trend Alert: The 70's Fashion for F/W 2015-2016

One of F/W 2015-2016 trend is channeling the 70's fashion.

Though designers take it with a mod twist, I have opted to retain that 70's vibe with this fashion piece that I have scored from one of my vintage-store-hopping sessions.

Fall/ Winter 2015-2016 Fashion Trend #1: 1970s Are Big Again

The print says it all.  The pattern on the fabric is a kaleidoscopic reminiscence of the 70's fashion.

This fashion piece can double as a poncho and a cover-up for beach / lake / spring / waterfalls outings.

For this particular outing, as we were out  and about the southern part of Cebu, "chasing waterfalls" - I opted to wear something oversized and easy-breezy, hence, this poncho which I wore as a dress.

What I Wore:
poncho dress (also cover-up) - vintage / slippers - Rider Sandals / sunglasses - from Las Vegas / scarf - The Landmark Makati
